I'm 18 lbs & I wear 12-18 month old clothing

I'm a big boy and proud of it!
Although I am only 3 and a half months old, I weigh 18lbs! My poor parents have a tough time lifting me. I am wearing 12-18 month clothing and I've outgrown so many things already.

My New IcyBite Teether

Today, my parents got me a new IcyBite Teether. This set them back about $2.60 + tax at Zellers.

It's well designed and I seem to like it. I am still learning how to grasp it and put it in my mouth, but that's okay, they'll hold it in my mouth for me as long as I want.

I like fist fulls of hair

Today, my Naana and Naani (maternal grandparents) and two of Khalas (mom's sisters) came to visit me. They brought me gifts, Thank-you so much for the Belly Brights stuffed animals and clothing!

My grandpa put me on his shoulders. They discovered that I like to grab fist fulls of hair.

V-Tech Move & Crawl Ball™ - a new toy!

Hi, today my Nonna & Nonno came to visit me in London. They came bearing gifts. I got some new clothing from my Nonna and from Mrs. Mancini (Nonna's friend), and a new toy, the V-Tech Move & Crawl Ball™.

I might be teething!

I have been acting a little out of sorts lately and we think I'm teething. I have the majority of the symptoms of teething such as:
- drooling (it seems like someone left a "drool faucet" on inside my mouth.
- chewing on objects (such as my fingers, my mom's knuckles)
- I have trouble falling asleep
- I suck on my bottle for a bit only to turn away, to try again, to turn away again, etc.
- I've been difficult to console & having crying fits
- I've been yelling a lot

It's hard to believe that I'd be teething this young, however babies can start teething as early as 3months old. My parents are very concerned and hope that I am not in too much pain.

I'm wearing size 5 Huggies Diapers already

I've been wearing Kirkland (Costco) brand size 4 diapers for some time already, but today I've graduated to size 5 Huggies diapers. They are supposedly meant for babies 27lbs and up but for some odd reason, they are smaller than the size 4 Kirklands. See for yourself below. I am the model.

Happy Mother's Day

Fisher Price Musical Lights N' Sounds Gym

My parents noticed that I really like to smack things around with my hands. They think I am like Bam Bam from the Flintstones.











My Dad assembled the Fisher Price Musical Lights N' Sounds Gym (given to us as a gift - Thank-you again!) for me.

My first visit to my new pediatrician

Today I visited my new pediatrician in London ON. I weighed in at 7.7kg. My length is 63cm and my head circumference is 42cm. I didn't have any vaccinations today (yay!). The doctor advised my parents that I will have a vaccination (Penta & Prevnar) at my next appt which will be at 4months old. They are to give me 1ml of tylenol before I arrive, to lessen the pain of the injection.

My first experience in the exersaucer

I am three months old now and I weigh about 16lbs 6oz. My mom says that I have been trying to sit up and that I've been rocking in her lap. Since I've really been exhibiting the need to move around a lot Dad put together this new contraption for me. It's called an exersaucer and I love it! View the clip below to see how much I enjoy it.

@3 Months - Progress on Milestones

At three months I have mastered the following skills (as per skills chart available at the following link):
• Laughs
• Holds head steady
• Recognises your face and scent
• Squeals, gurgles, coos
• Recognises your voice
• Does mini-pushups
• Turns towards loud sounds
• Can bring hands together and may bat at toys
• Holds head up steadily
• Can bear weight on legs
• Coos when you talk to him

The one that I have not quite mastered yet is:
• Can roll over
