My hair has gotten very long so my mom put it in a ponytail. She is going to give me a hair cut real soon but my Dad doesn't want her to. We'll see what happens.

I love the electric toothbrush

Although I don't brush my teeth yet, I love it when my mom or dad brush their teeth using the electric toothbrush. I laugh and get all excited and then attempt to steal it from them.

I can really cruise around fast

I can cruise around a room really fast now while holding onto things. In this clip I travel around holding onto my toys.

La La Lai = Complaining

My vocabulary is expanding rapidly. It's gone from Ba Baa, to Ma Maa, to Da Daa and now La La. In this clip I appear to be complaining about something.

I bang on the French Door

My first teeth have arrived!

It's official. My first bottom incisors have broken through the gums. My mom can even hear them tapping on the spoon that she uses to feed me this morning.

While I was away at my Grandparents place in Toronto, I learned this new way of communication. I like to cluck and do it especially when others cluck too.

I'm away for a while

Hi there, I won't be able to post to my blog as regularly as I usually do as I am away in Toronto staying with my Grandparents for a bit. Thanks for visiting my site though. I am sure I will have lots to post when I return.

Yaser, Nada, & Basil visited today

Today Yaser & Nada came by to drop something off for my Dad. Basil, also came by to pick something up. They are my moms 2nd cousins.

A new position for my toy

My Musical Ocean 3-in-1 Gym has three settings and I've moved up to it's last setting for sometime now. I don't like to sit and play much. I prefer standing and playing. Watch me in action in this clip:

• Says "dada" and "mama" to both parents (isn't specific) - Yes, Baba & Mama
• Begins to crawl - Yes, very & for awhile already
• Passes object from hand to hand - Yes, for awhile already

Emerging Skills(Half of children can do)
• Stands while holding onto something - Yes - I'm actually cruising around on furniture and even know how to get down
• Crawls well - Very very well
• Points at objects - No, but I follow what others point to especially in books

Advanced Skills(A few children can do)
• Pulls self to standing position, cruises around furniture while holding on - Yes, I even know how to get down
• Picks things up with thumb-finger "pincer" grasp - Yes, especially food
• Indicates wants with gestures - No, only grunting so far

We went for a walk today and saw lots of fall leaves.

Today is my 8mth Dr.'s appt

Today I saw my Paediatrician. I am officially 74cm long and weigh 10.2 kg (22.5 lbs) with a head circumference of 45.5cm. The doctor says that I am the size of a 15month old!

I'm Learning How to get down from Standing

I've become an expert at standing up and cruising around the room on furniture and window sills but getting down is a skill that I am still mastering. Watch me in action here. My choochi (pacifier) is a great incentive. 2006-10-02
