Maha is my mom's long time friend. She was visiting from Montreal and came to meet me for the first time. I really liked her as I kept kissing her and kissing her.

I know where eyes are

I know where eyes are located. When someone asks me where someone/something's eyes are, I will point at my mommy's eyes, my grandma's eyes, my grandpa's and even Tickle Me Ernie's eyes. Watch me in this video pointing to my mommy's eyes.

I saw my pediatrician today

I had my 12 month old check up with my pediatrician today.
I had two vaccinations (Measles mumps rubella (MMR) & Men-C conjugate).

We told the doctor about my allergy to amoxicillin and possibly penicillin.
The doctor said that I am the size of a 3 yr old. My next appointment is at 15 months for two more vaccinations. I cried a fair bit but when I got home my Dad snuggled with me until I fell asleep.

We went to see my aunt Aasma & Uncle MQ yesterday. They were so happy to see me and even got a great birthday present. Thanks so much!

I explore the cabinets

I love exploring all the cabinets and drawers and taking everything out and leaving it on the floor. I leave a big mess for my parents to clean up after they trip on everything first. Although it keeps me busy for little periods of time, it seems that my parents might have to get more of those cabinet locks.

I am 81 cms tall and weigh 26.8 lbs.

Mom cut my hair

Mom cut my hair last night while I was sleeping! She couldn't use clippers because the buzzing sound would wake me up (it did last time). My Dad didn't want her to cut my hair but mom thought it was in my eyes and ears so she cut it anyway. As you can see from this photo, I was not very happy with her as she was disturbing my sleep.

My nose seems clear now

I am able to drink my bottle of formula now without having to stop after two sips to get a breath of air. What a relief!

I don't like Rice Krispies much anymore

For some reason, I only eat a few bites of Rice Krispies now and then I don't want anymore. My mom gave me an arrowroot cookie but I didn't eat that either with much interest. She is trying to find other breakfast foods for me to eat.

I find yawns contagious

In the past, I was never affected by other people yawning but today I saw my mom yawn twice and I yawned too. It could be coincidence but since I am a little copycat right now my mom thinks it might be contagious.

I bit my mom

I bit my mom twice now and took off a bit of her skin. I didn't mean it though. I didn't really understand what I was doing. I didn't do it out of anger or anything. It seems I did it for no reason really at all. I'm probably just getting used to my new teeth.
