My T-Shirt says that I am an "Insect Explorer". Nonna got me this shirt and my Naani got me the pants. Thank you so much both of you.

I have a low grade fever

The vaccinations could easily have caused the low grade fever that I have. My parents have been giving me children's Motrin though which is keeping it in check. I have still been in a great mood though.

I had two vaccinations today

Today I had my 15 month vaccinations. They were both injected into each of my arms. One was for Pneumo-coccal conjugate & the other was for Chicken pox (Varicella). I cried a little but was mostly very very brave.

I like stomping around

Wore a hat ... for 1 second

Mommy managed to put a hat on me and snap a photo, after about 25 tries. I of course tore it off 1 second later.

I ate with Chopsticks

My parents were eating Japanese food when I joined in. I ate sweet yam tempura, and pickled ginger - yum!

I tried Soy Formula today

While I was recovering from my little illness Mommy put me on Isomil 2 a soy based formula, since milk is hard on the digestive system. I liked it. I am back on milk now though.

The Juggernaut

I played in the backyard

I am wearing yet another outfit that Nonna got me. Thanks Nonna. I refuse to wear the matching hat though, sorry. Anytime mom puts hats on me I tear them off and throw them on the floor.

I love dancing

I am a little sick

I have been sick for a few days with diarrhea it seems. We really can't figure out what caused it. I don't have a fever. I am teething but I am not sure if that could be the reason. I haven't eaten anything new lately.

I saw my paediatrician today. Here are my measurements:
- Weight: 13.3kgs
- Head circumference: 48cm
- Height: I am about 84-85cms tall (I wouldn't stay still long enough to get a sure measurement).

Because of my digestive problem right now, the doctor recommended to take me completely off of milk for at least 24 hours. Milk is hard to digest and can aggravate the problem. Foods that he recommended I eat are: Rice, Apples & Bananas.

Other things I can eat are:
- rice / rice cereal
- grains (bread)
- crackers
- noodles
- mashed potatoes
- carrots
- applesauce
- bananas

I ate a whole banana this morning, 2-3 crackers later on, a peach cut into little bits, 1 cookie, some of my mom's chicken sandwich (mostly the bread), some french fries, plus I drank lots of water. I seem to be doing ok. The only problem is the bile from the diarrhea scalded my little bottom even though my parents made sure to wash me the second I had anything in my diaper. It is so sore that when they would wash me I would scream and cry. I haven't had any diarrhea since this afternoon so hopefully I am on the road to recovery.

Ready for the summer

I played on a swing today

I seemed to have been having a good time initially on the swing but my Dad pushed me a little too high and I got a little nervous. Silly Daddy. By the way, I am wearing the new Bug Inspector Leader shirt that my Nonna got me from her trip to Cleveland. Thanks Nonna!

No more formula for me

I am on 100% cow's milk now and doing very well, thank you. We phased out the formula slowly and made sure that I was not having any digestive issues before we took it out completely. I am a turning into a grown up boy now!

I am getting a new molar

I haven't been eating very much lately. I haven't even been eating my favourite - omelettes. My grandma thinks it's because I am getting a new molar. Below is a diagram of the where the new molar has come in. Click here to read about the average order of appearance of teeth. Below is a little summary though:

The average time and usual order of appearance is

* Four central incisors (cutters) start appearing at around 6-7 months
* Four more side incisors appear at around 8 months
* Four back molars (chewing teeth) appear at between 10-14 months
* Four canines (pointed teeth) appear at around 16-20 months.
* Four more back molars appear at between 24-30 months.

I sat in grandpas lap

Love to play with water

Everytime my grandma takes me to the laundry sink to wash my little bottom I get to play in the water! This is because I of course sit down and she has little to no choice in the matter.

I lifted a watermelon

My grandma bought a watermelon home and before she could put it away I grabbed it and lifted it and nearly dropped it on my feet.

I got a new book

My mom's friend Rosemary Sylman brought this book as a present for me. I laugh whenever someone reads the word "Oops" in the book.

I am 15 months old

I weight around 29lbs and am about 84cms tall.

I may not be able to update my blog as often

Things are a little hectic right now and I may not be able to update my blog as often (which was daily before). I apologize for this. I would say visit this site once a week now for the next little while.

I don't like corn flakes anymore

For some reason I won't eat corn flakes anymore. This was short lived.
