I tried on shoes for the first time

I tried on some shoes for the first time. They were a size 4 wide, but the lady at the store said that they were a tad too small. I am not able to walk yet by myself but I am looking forward to it. I can move around by hanging onto things. I am not sure how soon I will be walking and requiring shoes - maybe a few more months. Who knows, I may be a size 5 by then, but I think it depends on the style too. Other moms recommended that I start with grippy socks, then these soft soled shoes called Robeez. They said to stay away from anything that doesn't have a soft flexible sole because it will be too stiff for me to start with.
